Tomorrow, September 13, 2008, the third annual Le Tour des Plants begins! |
You are invited to join us as we celebrate fall gardening with special sales and coupons. The Le Tour des Plants magazines are out at participating nurseries (plus a few other locations).
 |
Pick one up to see a listing of classes, events, sales, coupons and other offerings cooked up just for you. Click here for the coupon pages in PDF. |
Inside the magazine is your passport to special prizes. Just be sure to get it stamped at each place you visit, fill in your contact information (we never sell our lists, by the way), and then leave it at your last Le Tour stop or mail it to the OAN (must be received no later than Sept. 22, 2008). Visit three or more locations and you will be entered in a drawing to win one of four great prizes!
Almost 50 retail garden centers and specialty nurseries from Woodland, Washington to Cottage Grove, Oregon have planned activities and events with you in mind. Take a look at the Portland/Vancouver/Woodland map. Don’t forget about all the great things to do further south!
Tourists sometimes get hungry and thirsty, so we put together lists of restaurants near some of the nurseries on each part of the tour. There are lots more that aren’t on this list, but if you want to get away from the chains, these might be a good start.

With great weekend weather on the way, I’m making plans with a couple of gardening friends for a little bit of touring, tasting, looking, learning, and laughing. We want to get ourselves the prize for most nurseries visited. See you on tour!
